|The Equine Podiatry Association|
Full details of membership rules can be found here.
Information on how to join the association can be found here.
Currently the association has three classes of members:
Full members must satisfy the association's Training and Qualification Standard and are therefore considered qualified Equine Podiatrists. Full members are required to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) so as to remain up to date with the latest developments in the field. CPD can include both technical study directly related to Equine Podiatry (e.g. studying relevant new publications or attending advanced courses) and also appropriate related study (e.g. an equine behaviour course).
A register of full members can be found here.
Student membership is open to those currently studying to become an Equine Podiatrist on a course that is recognised by the Association and listed in the Training and Qualification Standard.
Associate membership is open to those who have taken part in training in Equine Podiatry or have strong interest in the future of the profession. Note: Associate membership shall be denied to those who have demonstrated that they do not support the published aims of the association.
