My unshod path started when I bought a Poitou donkey from a local zoo. I had trouble finding a farrier or trimmer who would trim a donkey, and then had problems with the way some of them treated the animal whilst they did it. This led me to researching on the web and asking people about their equines' hooves and treatment, all of which kept leading me to KC and his courses. After attending my first five day course I was hooked! Since then I have also become the Manager of a Horse and Pony Trust meaning that I see a variety of equines and their hooves which not only adds to my knowledge but assists me greatly with my EP clients and their equines.
