Alun Jones
I started on the route to become an EP when I bought Patrick (an ISH) who has angular limb deformities in both front legs. I attended a course in Equine Podiatry back in 2002 (the first ever run in the UK) and I was hooked and I have been on an educational journey ever since. I have learned an enormous amount in the last six years about the equine distal limb, far more than in the previous 22 years of being a practising vet here in Swansea. We have 5 barefoot horses of our own which we do general riding club activities with when time permits. Patrick does extremely well with the HPT method and his feet look wonderful. I have a small case load within my practice and I act as veterinary advisor to all the EPs in the UK.
