I originally learnt to trim to help one of my own horses who had been lame for over a year with extremely serious quarter cracks. The results were better than I could ever have hoped for, and I decided to qualify as an EP so I could help others. I've since recovered many serious cases as well as helping lots of owners who just prefer their horses to work without shoes.

My practice is heavily biased towards remedial work, especially laminitis. I have a research interest in laminitis, with a particular interest in low grade laminitis.

My partner Clare and I share five horses. With Jazz (in the photo), I attempt classical dressage, spook-free hacking and extreme clicker training.
