Hey, I’m Annie, “AnnieRose EP”. Qualifying as an Equine Podiatrist in 2025 with my Level 5 Diploma in Equine Podiatry has been a dream come true and I couldn’t be happier with my career because of the difference I make to horses and their owners. Educating owners about what influences a healthy hoof, identifying changes in management that need to be made and seeing a horse improve as a consequence of this care is truly heartwarming. It can be a challenging road of recovery for some and this makes it even more rewarding when I see all of that hard work paying off with a horse and owner who are both feeling better. Through academia, work life and hobbies, I’ve covered the realms of Psychology, Neuroscience, Animal Care, Equine Management, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory work and Equine Insurance – all of which taught me more about my passion for animal welfare, especially at the veterinary lab and that’s when I enrolled for the Level 5 Diploma in Equine Podiatry (class of 2022) – I wanted to make a direct difference to the animals, as and when they needed me. My hobbies have always encompassed science in nature, animals, fitness/the outdoors and art; Equine Podiatry ties these together in a unique way – it’s integrative, holistic and open minded. It’s about trimming precision, lifestyle balance and creation. This has made a difference to so many horses lives and I know I will never get bored of the continuous studying involved with this discipline because nothing makes me happier than a breakthrough. I’m here to help, understand and make a change for you and your horse.
