I have been lucky enough to have had horses most of my life, but I have always had them shod and kept traditionally as this is what I was taught was the right thing. It wasn’t until I got two foals in my 20s that I began to question everything from the way we keep them to training and handling. Then after many years of working as a groom I wanted a different career. At the time my two very young horses were not getting on with traditional hoof care. One of which had some behavioural issues with my farrier at the time and the other was suffering from some low grade laminitis and significant white line disease. After doing some research I fell down a rabbit hole that I have never got out of.

I have found something that I am extremely passionate about and I think just makes sense. I take a whole horse approach to hoof care to give your horse the best hoof care I can.
