Feet are a mirror of the health of the horse. Healthy feet enhance the wellbeing of the horse which in turn enhances performance of the horse.
I will do my best to support horse owners help their horses to get there, whilst keeping any handling and trimming intervention such that it gives a positive experience to the horse. As a medical professional with a lifelong interest in human anatomy and physiology I found that horse hoof anatomy is equally fascinating and hugely complex – not just a piece of rigid bone, but a delicate arrangement that needs to be in balance between nutrition, movement and wear. |
