Like many of my colleagues, it was my own horse who began my journey into the barefoot world. After taking the plunge in 2018 and finding myself an EP, we have never looked back! I learnt so much from my EP and truly loved the journey I took with my own horses that when I left full time education as an 18 year old fresh out of A-levels, I knew straight away I wanted to become an EP and enrolled into the course, gaining my level 5 diploma in Equine Podiatry in Oct 2025. I enjoy educating owners to enable them to make informed decisions for their horses. Combining this with a complete holistic approach emphasising the importance of nutrition and management in ways we haven’t traditionally thought about. I am passionate about creating kind and trusting relationships with the horses I work with, especially those who have perhaps struggled with hoof care/handling previously. In my spare time, I enjoy low level show jumping, as well as exploring the mountains of the Welsh Valleys with my horses.
