The council would like to announce that this year’s AGM will be held in person at our 2024 Conference at Furtho Manor Farm, Northampton Road, Milton Keynes, MK19 6NR on Tuesday 17th September at 4.30pm (end of day one). Only Full, Sabbatical and Student Members may attend.
There are 2 positions on council that will be contested this year.
a) Linda Wilmer will be stepping down. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Linda for her hard work. Richard Vialls is required to stand down but has chosen to stand for re-election.
b) Council invites applications from all Full Members who wish to be involved in guiding the Association forward. Newness of membership is no barrier. Anyone who wishes to stand needs a proposer and second and must submit a manifesto (no more than 750 words) to the Association Secretary by Saturday 14th September 2024.
c). Full members who cannot attend the AGM may send a proxy vote to the secretary by midnight on Saturday 14th September 2024.
